At IdeaPlugins, we respect your privacy and are committed to protecting the personal information of our visitors, customers and account holders.
This Privacy Policy explains how personal information is collected, used, stored, protected and shared when you visit https://ideaplugins.com/ (the “Website”), buy or use our downloadable WordPress and WooCommerce plugins, create an account, activate a license, request product help or otherwise interact with us.
By using our Website, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy.
1. Who We Are (Data Controller)
IdeaPlugins is operated by Erdal Kurt, a sole proprietor, based at İstanbul, Üsküdar, Türkiye (“IdeaPlugins”, “we”, “us” or “our”).
For the personal information we collect through the Website, our accounts and our licensing systems, and for the buyer information we receive from Paddle, IdeaPlugins is a data controller.
Privacy contact: support@ideaplugins.com
2. Our Reseller and Merchant of Record: Paddle
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all of our orders. Paddle handles payment processing, invoicing, tax calculation and collection, refunds and payment-related customer inquiries. Your purchase is also subject to Paddle’s Buyer Terms.
When you buy from us, Paddle collects and processes your payment and transaction information (for example your name, email address, billing address, tax information, payment method details and transaction details) as an independent data controller, in accordance with Paddle’s Privacy Policy. We do not receive or store your full payment card number or security code.
What Paddle shares with us. Paddle shares with us the following information about buyers, so that we can deliver your order, issue your license and meet our legal obligations: your name and address (country, billing region), your email address, your purchase history, and the transaction details available to us in the Paddle dashboard. Paddle does not share special categories of personal data with us, and we do not ask for them.
What we do with it. We use this information only to deliver the software you purchased, issue and manage your license, provide product updates and product help, handle order and refund requests together with Paddle, prevent fraud and license abuse, and comply with legal, tax and accounting obligations. The legal basis is performance of our contract with you (through Paddle), our legitimate interests and legal obligations, as described in section 5.
Where we get it from. We receive this information from Paddle when you complete a purchase, and from you directly when you create an account or contact us.

3.3 Plugin Licensing and Activation Information
Some IdeaPlugins products use license activation and validation. To provide licensing, updates and security, we may process your license key, product information, website or domain information, plugin version, WordPress, WooCommerce and PHP versions, activation and deactivation information, and technical error information.

When you contact us about a product or a refund request, we collect the information you provide, such as your name, email address, order number, the content of your message and technical details about the plugin and your website.

For other transfers, we take steps to ensure appropriate safeguards are in place, such as an adequacy decision, Standard Contractual Clauses or other lawful transfer mechanisms.

Order and license records are generally kept for the period required by applicable tax and accounting laws. When information is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it.
